The surveillance camera is another long-running theme for me. I am obsessed with the ubiquity of these cameras in public spaces. Does their omnipresence hide their power, or actually diminish it? The politics of surveillance is not this series’ mission. It began when I noticed surveillance cameras are never integrated into the architecture. They are an after thought, like a wart on the space. I’m exploring the way an object can define a space, change a composition, or create meaning.
